Is it possible for my percs to turn all black

my true percs just recently have been turning black, it started on the fins but recently they have been getting these black dots all over them and getting alot darker..i beefed up their feeding and got some oysters the other day and they and my nem have been loving it..

can they turn all black or black and a little orange and white stripes..ill try and get a pic but they have black spots all over..

 

Well, it won't turn all black, there is actually no such thing as an all black perc LOL. So, if it did, you could probably sell it to ORA or someone and make a mint. It is common for them to turn more black with age though.

 

their only like 7 months old..if they keep getting black dots then they will be all black except on their nose area of the mouth

 

Black dots sounds like hyper melanization from being stung by corals like frog spawn and other euphyllias.

the female is alot darker than the male..ill try and get a shot of the front fins more..their alot darker than this pic is making it..ill try and get a better with less white balance
