It possible with the right conditions... I am sure you could even manually stick them there with superglue gel or something. I think the other question is why? lol:)

well yea know how if you get a deep tank and you put live rock on the bottom instead of building up why not build up on the sides and keep a big open space in the middle.. I dont know if you get it or not but make it like a " U " built on the sides and bottoms ... idk it seemed like a cool idea

It is, and a lot of times you don't have to glue them. I know from experience pulsating xenia and GSP's will grow right up the glass all on their own ;)

Ive got GSP up the glass and it's kind of annoying TBH. In the new plywood tank i probably wont mind though.

I have placed waving hand anthelia on both my overflow boxes and it is growing in nicely. I think it is cool to sit and watch them wave versus looking at the black boxes! I frag bits of it off when it gets near my drain. Otherwise it is growing on the sides and down the box completly.

I wanted to place star polyps on it but for some reason my stars dont grow well in this tank.

Anything that grows in a mat form I would think would grow nicely on the glass

I am going to go for GSP on my back glass here in the next several months. Glue and go. Just start off with a little part of the mat and it will take off.

Many species of soft coral will grow on tank glass. They also make magnets to attach frags to the glass!
