If you remove the rocks and place in salt water, no additional cycle should be required. You can add a circulation pump if you like. The lemon juice is mild acid your not trying to bloat them. Lemon juice works on all nems. If your numbers are few (less then 10 total) you can just inject them and return to tank. Just keep eye on pH. Once injected they will remain closed and not release Planula. The amount of dead should be acceptable to not spike your bio balance in a 30+ tank. Do you have a cleanup crew already? Majano spread rapidly however good water conditions usually rid them in time. They aren't nearly as bad as aiptasia IMO. I got a coral with one attached to the skeleton. It didn't appear to be stinging it so I left it. In time it shriveled and disappeared.
Generally speaking a well maintained tank takes care of itself. If you maintain it well, you will not get majano, aiptasia, red cyano, or other common problems. LFS bring in mass stock and don't 'de-bug' expecially live rock. My opninion I only worry about two pest with LR. eunice worm and aiptasia (but will buy a good piece of LR even if i see aiptasia)

Boiling water will work on them as well, or a peppermint shrimp!

I'll do the lemon juice in a bucket, what ratio of juice to water? with the 3 rocks that would alone account for more than 90% of the population of my pest and should take care of all the aiptasia from what I have found anyways, I didn't want to do that, cus that rock has some pretty rock duster worms on it and one even maybe some red tunicates, i'll take about 3 gallons out of my tank to put the rocks in, that should do it.

no water to lemon juice ratio. You inject them with a hyperdermic syringe. a tiny squirt in each one. Not thru the mouth.

ohhh I see! will the 3 big aiptasia will be easy, trying to find those little majanos once I pull the rock out will be tough, and I wouldn't you know all 3 had to have their own rock, they could have made my job easier by sharing the same rock, NO! they had to occupy 3rocks, off to the store to get lemon juice, I am a dieabetic so I got all the needles I need ;)

Luckily the pest came in on my Caribbean rock and I have only 5 pieces of that rock, the largest piece I have seen nothing on, so that's good. Thanks for the help.

Did I get demoted? I see I am a Bristle worm again, hahaha! I went to Petsmart and was eye balling a 75g tank, my wife put an end to that real fast with a sudden blow to the back of my head as I was day dreaming.

Will I am giving Aiptasia X a try, since their numbers are low and easy to get to, I didn't want to tear up rock work, it did all that it said it would do, I didn't know that stuff is only Calcium and Magnesium salts, so I don't think it will hurt anything, the stuff did stick on to the Aiptasia as it claimed it would, I covered their oral disk completely, so now hopefully their claim to kill them also will happen.

Will my water movement has been back on for over an hour now, 2 of the pest that I hit with the Aiptasia X looks to me that they couldn't be more dead, i'll keep an eye on that, I can't see the others.

update, I killed a few aiptasia and majanos with AiptasiaX back in April, but their was many more of both, 2 peppermint shrimp later and I have not seen a single one of either for weeks now, nice not having to deal with those things.
