here are pics of my current setup and the other pics are of the sump ro/di and skimmer
will i benefit from adding a sump and removing hot filters? do i still need to de chlorinate the water with chemicals even though it goes through a 4 stage ro/di filter?
if i did i would want to get an acrylic tank drilled for in and out to sump filled with live sand, a more cleaner look

more water volume the better. if you dont want to drill just use a overflow box and add some background paper to backglass to hide hoses & power cords,etc..

I don't see any pics, but anyway you will benefit from adding a sump. It will give you more volume to your tank, a place to place your heater, skimmer etc and will give you a more stable reef tank.
