Is it worth it?

A guy at my LFS has this nem and it split about a month ago and is as healthy as can be but the guy wants 120$ for it which to me seems pretty high, would you pay for it??! its a nice color, and is very very healthy and he actually cut the rock so its not pulled off of it! i should also add its about 6-8" fully open

 

Worth is what you make it. If you truly want it then it is worth it.

 

i paid 51$ for my gold lta..and its like 8"..and i bought it from a fish store, so im not sure..

it is gorgeous, and if you got the cash then get it..i usually say if you think twice about it then its not the one..idk ive been drinking,,alot..my girls fault

 

Make sure it isn't dyed...but no, way too much IMO. Looks cool though.

 

What kind of anemone is that? Looks like a cold water anemone. I have not seen a BTA with that coloration, so I would nail down the exact type.

 

The guy had it in his tank at home and I've seen it since I started in this hobby about 8 months now and I've always asked when he's gunna sell it bc I want it, and well it split now so he only wants 1! But I think I'm going to go for it, and as far as dying, Im pretty sure it's in fantastic health but I'm not sure if he's trying to rip me off, I have the cash it just seems steep ive seen ritteri nems go for that but not a lta or whatever it is I forgot :S

 

I'll go in tomorrow and ask again I know it's a rose something but it's like and orange/ red it's beautiful and has very long full tentacle

 

well ive decided im going to go for it, after a little bit of research the price is about right

heres on here, its the exact specimen and its about 2 inches smaller so i cant really complain! ill have pictures once its in my tank and settled! i cannot wait!!
