Is LiveAquaria open on monday?

thats a good idea. but in this case i do need a fish because i have some very bad bullying going on in my tank and 2 against 1 is not cool

 

Aren't you worried about breaking the glass? STick your hand in and scare them away. They will learn eventually. Even my cleaner shrimp learned not to bother my duncans.

 

Do not pound on the glass Puffer!!!!! The fish use their lateral line to "hear" and amplify sound under water. Tapping on the glass creates vibrations which they pick up, and can harm their lateral lines. It is rare, but it can happen.

 

i dont pound that hard. And my clowns arent afraid of my hand, they bite me extremly hard

i only do it once in a while, i knew it was bad to pound on the glass, but i figured it would annoy the clowns and make them stop their bullying. I shall stop and hopefully tomorrow i will have a new fish weather chromis or mccoskers wrasse

 

Do you have a sump? If so throw them in there as time out lol

Oops, I didn't mean to come off that strong, sorry Puffer :-[ But I have seen fish(firefish included ) jump from little brats pounding on the glass, just a pet peeve that grew on me.

 

lol no worries about coming off strong but yea i agree with you about the little kids pounding on the glass i feel very sorry for the fish, butmy clowns, thats another story
