I have been looking at the new LED moonlighting setups and am wondering who has had some experience on them?

    Are they are good idea?
I am looking at high output 5500mcd @ 470 nm blue lights, I have a 55 gal reef tank with a 4 lamp setup, 1 Actinic, 1 super Actinic and 2 daylight for a total of 440 watts of light. I have them on 12 hrs a day and was wondering if moonlight simulation would be beneficial?

Would I keep it on all night every night?
Is the above the right spectrum? Luminescence?
am planning to build it from 25 high out LEDs and a transformer 5v 400mw out.

if your gonna moonlight just do it for like 4 hours.i was told to do it that much time and its worked for me.so i leave my lights on for 6-8 and 4 hours of moonlighting pretty much covers a full day of lighting in my tank.
