I had no idea that she posted it like that at first and apologize for getting a little testy. I just really have a problem when people post what appears to be somewhat sarcastic, aggressive post and the comment does not whatsoever help or add to the conversation. Just something I've always taken offense to.

I know what it is like when a nem poops and this is not the case. During the light time he is not very inflated and is something curled up.

Back to the problem. xmetalfan, Rachel added ten capfuls of the Reef Complete she got and shortly after the water became somewhat cloudy, the mushrooms shrivled up, clams closed, SPS had no PE, duncans and acans shrivled up, even the GSP is not having GSP, at this point the nem looked fine.

Soon after everything but the clams and SPS were returning to somewhat normal states. Then we had a filter sock clog on us in the night and cam back to the tank flooded on the floor but everything still running just almost to the point of shooting air bubbles into the tank.

We then had to add 5 gallons of new water to the system to make up for the water lost. Like a water change I suppose. This is when the nem started acting strange and not being fully inflated and showing its base as opposed to hiding its brown base and looking fully inflated. Nothing has changed besides the water looking not cloudy anymore.

    Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The system parameters are all in order:

    Temp: 78F
    Salinity: 1.025
    dKH: 9
    Ca: 420
    Nitrate: 5

why were you dosing this? there is not really a problem here the anemone is just going through a phase. even my anemones do it everyones anemones do it. dosing that is harmful to the corals and doesnt help the situation.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If she dosed in the evening when the pH maybe at the lower range of its routine swing, it may have caused a brief pH swing and the corals responded accordingly. Also you say white cloud, sounds like a precipitation of calcium out of the solution. Sounds like just to sudden of a swing IMO.

Hope all is well again soon.
