Is my clownfish pregnant because if not I think we may have a problem.

    Alright so I get a good look at my female clown today and it looks like she has a huge pot belly now. These are the best pictures I can get. Any help will be appreciated. You can see a bulge in the pictures and its the best I could do.

    that mery well be. how long have you had both clowns?
    have they mated before?
    whats your feeding like? maybe she is just a fat happy fish?

    I don't think so. I thought they were egg layers.

    They are. but ive read somewhere that before they lay their eggs, the female's stomach gets a bulge. ( im guessing its where they store what ever they lay before they lay it.)

    I feed every other day and a shot glass full of mysis and flakes. Also I have had them for well over half a year.

    there could be a chance. you could alwasy go into the onxy clownfish breeding business and earn a little cash.
