I got a colt coral about 2 weeks ago and it looked fine, but was kind of hidden in the corner, and not getting much flow, I read that they needed moderate flow so I moved it to the front more and it got bigger within a half hour or so, looked very happy for the last few days, until yesterday when it started looking smaller than normal, and parts of it were grayer than normal (it's usually a light tan color). Today it was the same so I moved it back to the same area it was before and I noticed that the trunks had cuts in them, you could see holes in the flesh. I also found my red grape (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3589/3386159590_0ced947cef_o.jpg) all eaten away as well as the green leaves I had in there (not sure what they are http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3650/3386159732_3a8cf029d8_o.jpg)
So I am wondering if something could have attacked my coral ?
I have blue leg hermits, emerald crabs, mexican turbo snails, trochus snails, astraea snails and peppermint shrimps ...

hmmm, I see it load all the way, maybe flickr was slow when you first saw it ?
Now it's pretty much all gray and the cuts in the flesh are getting bigger, and I even found a couple of pieces of it floating around. My LFS suggested that my frogspawn although 8 inches or more away could have done that.
Now my question is, should I try to remove the pieces that are still tan and try to frag them (and how?) or is it all dead ?

Well, 8 inches is not much to span for a larger frogspawn or torch coral, but it could have been a crab too. I got rid of all my hermits for this very reason. They just don't keep their claws to themselves... I would cut a good looking piece off and move it. Leave the larger coral in one piece to help it's chances of survival. If they both survive then you can always sell the smaller frag.

here are more pics, I think you guys will agree, it's pretty much dead :(
What should I do, leave it in ? Remove it ? I don't even think the pieces that are still tan in color would be big enough to frag ?

well, quick update, it was dead indeed, the day after I posted in here last, pieces of it were coming off on their own. I am not sure the 3 frags I got will make it either ....
