    One problem I have noticed is temperature. I notice that it fluctuates from 75-81. I can't exactly figure out why its such a big range. I've got two hydor 300watt heaters in the sump

    I believe they are both set at 77, I will verify once I get home.

    I would not be running both since you have no livestock( to speak of..LOL )..try to keep in the 76/80 range...but IMO, not your biggest issue at this stage of the game....need to get that nitrogen cycle out of the way...what about the snails and such...they are not only good at the biological end of things...but its like the canary in a coal mine effect...if they are thriving and cleaning..its an indicator that things are progressing nicely, I am assuming this is your 90 gallon?..No diatoms yet?...you got awhile to go...slow. : ) Hang in there.     This is my 210G. In my 90, the diatoms came QUICK!

    Got ya...I was looking at your sig and seen the 3 tanks...I was thinking that was a bunch of rock for a 90...ya, 210 gallon, I think you got some time to go yet. :)

    Oh ya. I wasnt very patient with my 90. Trying to take my time now.
