Is my frogspawn dividing or expanding it's colony?

    Looks like it's splitting to me. I have a hammerhead that's just starting to split. Very rad.

    It does look like it is splitting, but it also looks like there is some tissue recession. You should never be able to see the skeleton and the middle part looks like it's skeleton. It's a very different looking frogspawn if that is indeed what it is.

    if its not a frogspawn.. what is it then? I question myself that sometimes also.. I figure its a frog spawn cuz it sort of looks like one. hahah.

    it's a grape coral! euphyllia cristata..i have one and from what i understand they're pretty rare..mine actually started doing this the other day..just one head..it receded in the middle..but now the entire head is dead...i have no idea what caused it! the other head is actually splitting into two now though so oh well!
