Thanks John, after some more quick research it looks like I caught it in time as it was just getting ready to blow.

Funny though, this was one of the macros I chose for the fuge more for looks than filtration because of its calcified nature and it's low odds of going sexual (knowing that ALL macros can go sexual, just some are more likely than others and why I avoided adding calupera).Whew!LOL

If it is unhappy it seems to blow very quickly. I think it is the most likely of the calcified macros to go sexual.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Oh yeah I am sure Don listens to Barry White NOT!!!!!

    Very interesting read.

When mine turned white I always assumed it was just dying because my Ca levels were too low.

Funny you mention that Vinny,I just traded my complete Rush vinyl collection for "Barry's Greatest Hits" on craigs just a couple weeks ago,it was a no-brainer.You might be onto something.

You're saying I may have starved a macro from to low of nutrients?

Thats one of the nicest things i've ever heard, lol.

I did run a full bore testing today and was pleased with most of the results, need to work on mag and alk a tad,but was still accepable, all other levels were spot on.

I did add a gfo reactor this week, maybe the sudden drop in phosphates?
It's been undetectable with my api kit for a while, but the traces of cyano tell me it's still there. If thats the possiblity, then COOL! I appreciate the info John.
