Is my lighting enough for corals?

    I have a tall 15 gallon nano. And currently running a Helios VHO T6 IV PL that is 90 watts, 24 inchs. My corals rite now are doing good, but just wondering is this enough light. have a frogspawn, xenia, mushroom and green star polyp.

    That should work fine for those corals.

    if i add another fixture.. same brand and all but is a shorter (20inch) @ 55watt.. will that help my corals thrive better? or is that just a waste of money cuz it wont help any...

    I would leave it the way it is. You run the risk of bleaching from too much light. Sounds like you already have one of the expensive parts of your refugium on hand though...
