Hey guys, i have a problem with my light setup atm. i cant explain it, but i know for a fact its not RTN or STN because theres still PE.

SO my situation is, my light fixture is about 13" off the surface and about 6" to the corals, and when the lights go off the SPS seem to have no color on the other side where its not getting any lights. im not sure what i should does but when the lights come back on you cant notice the color difference. ill snap a few pictures in a bit.

its like my light doesnt have enough spread, or the SPS has to many branches and blocking the flow. when the lights are on there is alot of PE.
    SPECS:
AI SOL NANO 75W 80B 90RB 13" off the surface

That is normal for the coral to have less coloration where there is ni light or little light hitting it.

Yea, this seems normal to me. My birdsnests show this the most of all my coral. They are green with purple polyps in the spots getting the most light and then where the branches shade over other parts of the coral it's more of a yellow with more brown colored polyps. It's more annoying than anything lol. My green Mille is bright green and pink where the light hits it good and greenish brown where it doesn't, same with my stag... this all sounds normal to me :p

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
My larger colonies that do not receive direct lighting have areas of pale tissue in the shaded areas.

It actually make sense, surface areas in shaded parts do not need the same amount of zooxanthellea hence the lack of coloration.

My RP branchs are white on the bottom in the shaded areas but the tissue is healthy.
