Is my pump big enough for a Red Sea Classic

Hi all,
I have a 90 gallon tank that I will be setting up soon. I recently purchased a Red Sea Classic skimmer and I already had a supreme Mag Drive 18 pump which is rated at 1800 gph. I plan on running the skimmer and 2 outputs to the tank off this pump. Do you think the pump will be sufficient for all 3?

 

I think I answered my own question upon doing some more research. Apparently a RIO 2500HP pump is recommended for the Red Sea Classic. I don't believe my Mag Drive will be able to accomplish that task along with running 2 additional outputs to the tank. My solution will be to add an additional pump to drive the protein skimmer.

 

I have the Berlin Classic HO Skimmer, I run it with a Mag drive 9.5 (950 gph) It does the trick! When I originally bought it they were recommending a 500 gph pump but that was not sufficient. Per someone else's advice here, I upgraded to the larger pump and it works great! I had a rio for it before and the housing cracked. Just FYI ;D

 

Love those mag 9.5s...you could also try a Pentair Quiet One 3000 (800gph), they are a little less expensive (http://www.petsolutions.com) than the Mag9.5 and they almost pump the same amount. Only drawback is it is a 1" output. Very quiet though!! ;D

I agree I love my mag 18, I will think about getting a mag 9.5 to run the skimmer.....
