Wow I almost gave up thinking no one would reply so I have not checked this thread in a day!.. Well to start off I am running Led lights.. they are not the expensive modjular type.. The tank is about 3 months old.. The BTA has not moved at all so Im hopping its a good sign.. It keeps deflating the more I feed it and yea its eating but I have to hand feed it cause my clowns have not hosted it yet.. and I should of probably waited a couple more months before adding this bta.. here is a better pic of my tank! This is when the tank was about a month old..

i wouldn't stop feeding even when it starts hosting clowns. i'm not convinced that they all keep their host anemones fed. i see mine steal food from their anemones more than i see them feed.

Oe thing Im thinking I also may have caused a stress to my anemone was that I didnt allow it to acclimate well in my tank firts and i tried feeding it the first couple of days I had it in my tank not realizing my cleaner shrimp where attaking it :/.. should I have waited a week or so before feeding it to let it acclimate?

yes, usually best to give it some time to acclimate before feeding. i only feed mine once a week.

Ok sounds good.. A buddy of mine is running the same lights that I have with a rose anemony just like mine and its doing good but his BTa is at the bottom of the tank and my Bta is at the top cause I put it there.. so I know it cant be a lack of light.. It probably needs more stability for a long while withouth a more sudden changes..

How are things going for you now? Got any recent pictures? It should be bubbled up by now.

I was worried too because it looked like yours. I also panicked because I saw it "poop" and I thought it was dieing because it didn't bubble up since it being at the store. Couple days later it was good as new.
