    I don't agree with inches to gallons. JMHO. With adequate filtration, flow, rock, and so forth, along with regular water changes, you should be fine.

    I dunno about everyone else but when my BTA drops a deuce it seems like more waste than what one of my fish produces.

    no I do not. Thought about it but I don't have room under the stand in the sump.

    Fish are fine if you understand that the more you have the more nitrates that develop and that means more frequent water changes. I have a lot of fish and watch my nitrates like a hawk. At first sign of trouble I do a water change and if need be more frequently. I don't mind water changes it's just carrying the 5 gal cans from the car to the house that I hate.
