I have a 30g tank which is made by aqueon and has no stickers on it saying "do not drill". How would I go about finding out if its ok to drill or not?

The bottom glass usually will have a sticker stating if its tempered glass. Most tank side walls are glass and safe to drill. You could always try to contact the manufacture. Luna

The sides should be safe to drill if it's Aqueon. As said by LUNA, call the manufacturer tomorrow to find out.

grab a pair of polarized sun glasses. If you can see strange marks on the glass then it is tempered. If not you should be good to go. This only works with polarized glasses tho

I googled and googled before I attempted drilling my 150 gallon because it's an older tank and I have no clue who made it. I just wanted to be sure.;)

Can the sunglasses trick be done with water in the tank or does it have to be empty? Thanks Rob
