It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Personally I do not see the point in dipping it again, but that is just me. I would just leave it be for now, except I would move to an area of lower lighting. The more you dip it without visual proof of pest or bacterial infection the more you stress it. JM2C

When you did the freshwater dip, did you heat the water to the temperature of the tank? Did you use buffer to match the pH of the tank? I would not use any Revive and stress it further.

I moved them into a cave, but they won't get very good water flow there, is that all right?

I only have A 12 gal so they can only go so far down from the lights.

what I do is use RO fresh water and put it in a zip lock bag. I float that in the tank for a while till it's the same temp as my tank. I am also floating the mushroom rock too, so that water is the same as my tank. Then I put the mushroom/rock in the bag and wait about 30 secs. for anything to jump off. Usually it's just pods.

Then I put it back in the bag from the store and start adding my water to that bag and slowly acclimate it.

I did not check the PH of the water. I didn't think of it.

The pH of your RO water is going to be 7.0. Your tank is probably somewhere around 8. Since the pH scale is logarithmic Vs. being linear, that's a HUGE jump.

That's pretty cool. I have never seen that.

Maybe it is splitting. I don't know. I have never had problems with shrooms, of couse I have only bought them 3 times. I bought some red ones and green ones the first year I had my tank. They spread everywhere and were really big. I bought 2 ricordea about a year ago. The orange one didn't make it through the algae bloom and the blue one turned green and is really shrunk, but still there.

    Thanks again everyone.
