[IMG] I bought this anemone from the fish store 3 days ago. The first day he stayed where I put him. Then the next day he moved to where he is now. Now he is all spread out. I just got through feeding him, or I think I fed him? I put a ball of mysis shrimp on him. But he looks funny and clear in color. Is he ok or not doing to good?

    Thanks for the help!

Agreed, looks bleached, but with some TLC it could make a good comeback.

Also agree, looks like a purple tip as you can see what appears to be faint markings on the ends.

The thing will move to where ever it feels comfortable. Do not try to remove it from a rock to place it somewhere else as you might tear the "foot"

I have t5 lighting 10,000k but he doesnt seem to like high places in the tank. I put him near the lights when I got him and then he moved down. It looks like a condy to me, even though the fish store said it was a bubble tip. I hope it isnt bleached. Is this behavior normal? He keeps closing up and then spreading way out.

I can see were it could be a BTA. But still looks bleached. Sounds like you have good lighting. Try feeding him and let him find his spot. Just give him some time to color back up, but try to feed if you can,

Yeah I would just leave him be and keep an eye on him, it definitely looks bleached like everyone is saying.

Remember its better not to tinker with things if you don't have to. I've learned that time after time.
