Today I went to the LFS and Bought 10 pyramid snails for a good price.
I am not good at picking a CUC so I just grabbed it. When I got home everyone says they are pests?? Why would the LFS sell pests? ( I am Guessing they are just for food?)
I posted a picture Just to give you guys an idea. But should I take them out of my tank.
There is nothing too expensive in the tank yet, Just finished cycling last few weeks.
1 YT damsel ( I did not cycle with the damsel btw)
few mushroom frags that came with the lr
    What you guys think?

Yes and no, they are pests to clams. They attach to the clam and puncture the mantle and basically suck it dry. As to it being a pest in general I'm not sure

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Those are not Pyramid snails. One looks very much like a Astrea snail to me.

Parasitic Pyramids are about he size of grain of rice.

    Yess :)
They are much larger ones in my tank, one of them is about 2 inches high. I got confused because the guy at the store said they were pyramid snails.
Now that I have 10, any tips to try to breed them ?

They're pyramid shaped, but they aren't pyramidellids (which aren't very pyramid shaped). Yours are actually trochids, Tectus fenestratus and Trochus maculatus, both good algae eaters. :)

    Cheers,
