Is the Current USA SunDial T5 HO 4x24W fan LOUD???

    I'm thinking about getting the Current USA SunDial T5 HO 4x24W w/ Timers & LED, but my tank is near my bed. Anyone know if this thing is noisy?

    Probably not. They're getting good with making the fans whisper quiet. Even if it makes some noise, it's a fan. Don't you use fans at night in the summer at your house?

    Yes, I have one and am dissapointed with the noise levels. You will not be happy with this unit in your bedroom. You will need to turn off the actinics to silence the fans.

    As a follow up I have the 4X39 36" model. I just noticed the variance from that in your original post.
