I live with my perants still or I'd install a permanent unit, but is there a small one that I could hook to a faucet, wouldnt mind spending like 100 bucks, I only use about 3-5 gallons a week in top off water...open top tank and I keep my room kinda cool in the winter so a lot evaporates...

...oh and i have a utility sink to set it in, the faucet end has the same threads as a garden hose...

you want to be careful with those things because I thought I would do the same thing...

If there's enough pressure the adapter will fly off and water and everything will go...well, you know the rest. So make sure you really tighten it on there, whichever adapter you choose.
