I'm eventually going to build a custom setup but in the meantime am trying to use my preexisting supplies which consist of an ordinary 18" flourescent hood light. I don't have to grow plants in the display since I have a fuge going but if there's anything that would handle even the red algae gracilaria I'd buy it. I think it has an aqua glo or something bluish.

GE might have a few bulbs in the 5000k to 6500k range.
