    Ok, so I've been on this forum for a bit and I've always wondered, where does all these Karma points come from. Like, I'm not posting to fish for some Karma points, but I've truly always wonder where does all that Karma originally come from? I see some members with like millions of Karma points :eek:! I know people give each other for good posts, fish deaths, etc., but was there at one point like a 3reef Karma God who would bestow Karma to posters to get things started? I know it's kind of a random topic but was always curios since there's like millions and millions of karma points out there.....

    Well if you are intelligent and good looking(like me).The karma flows like windsong.:cheesy:
    JK You are correct karma is something given from one member to another to show appreciation to that member. Just click on the little scale under the members avatar and info. You can also add a comment like "Vinny you are so darn helpfull and good looking.";D
    Since people here are giving there valuable time to help its nice to be able to say thanks.

    Everyone started out with 1 point when Matt started the Karma. You are able to give out 1/100 of your Karma rounded to the next whole number. You also get additional Karma for each 500 post you make if I remember right. It just adds up from there.

    When you want to give someone karma for a post, click on the scale icon ([​IMG]) in the bottom left corner of the post.

    well, I'm not sure that Vinny is indeed as intelligent or good looking as myself but he does try to be helpful thus his karma points. Now, my points - totally due to intellect and beauty ;D
