Is there any way to silence a Penguin Bio-wheel 100?

    I just got this filter for my tank. It is very noisy. Can anyone tell me how to queit it down? Thanks.

    I've found that the splashing sound of the bio-wheel can be controlled by adjusting the water level in the tank. It's a constant battle when you factor in evaporation.
