Is there something wrong with me?

Is anyone else like a magnet for spare aquarium equipment like me? I have a garage full of stuff, even though I have sold some, and I am currently collecting more. I have 4 tanks running and 4 spares in the man-cave.

Do I have a problem?

Dude you are sick, you only have 4 tanks? LOL.....
I have my own personal shopper at my LFS's that are simply employed to serve ME! I have shut down a couple tanks and now am down to 4 tanks....a 135g reef, 72g FOWLR, a 29g mantis tank and a 12g mini-reef. I have 2 6g and a 12g up for sale right now and I gave my parents a complete 75g set up when I moved to the 135

I only have 2 tanks, been at this for about a year now and can't believe the amount of "stuff" I have collected. My man has reign over the man cave so I have to put my fish stuff in a spare room in the basement. For me the amount of plumbing stuff I have for my various projects that I have attempted is outrageous.

 

WOW, and I thought my 55 cost a lot!! I couldn't imagine having 2, 3, or 4+ tanks. Kudos to all of you hardcore reefers out there!

Yes grasshopper it is a disease and there is a name for it.... MTS or Multiple Tank syndrome...

i started with a 10 gallon and there was one time when I had 7 tanks to occupy my time and money. I now only have 3 but I was eying my old 20 long the other day and trying to figure out where i could put it and use as a frag tank....


As far as 3reef being a support group, support groups to me are supposed to help stop addictions net enable them! LOL

 

Im glade me and my husband arent the only ones with a lot of sw stuff hanging around..lol . We only have one tank and havent been in the hobby for a full year yet.. March 5th will be our one year with out sw tank.. All our extra stuff is sitting in our office taking over... We live in a small apartment and that office area is the only place to put it.. You guys are lucky to have either a basement or a garage .. I can see how this hobby can be addictive.. We have updated our protein skimmer 3 times..lol... and the funny part is is that we still have our old ones... they are crappy cheep ones..

 

Oh yeah, is there anyone in the Chicago area that has a spare room or two..one for me and one for my tanks... because if I do set up that 20 I am going to be looking for a place to stay after my wife kicks my A$$ out of the house, tanks and all.....
