is this a bad anenome?

    can someone tell me what this is by the mushroom?? is it some sort of anenome? should i pluck it out?

    If you mean hidden in he center of the picture, all i can say is it doesn't look like aiptasia but could be majano.

    +1 on Majano - I can only just make out the tips of the tentacles

    you can use commercial products Joes juice and Aiptasia X - to get rid of it

    you could also make up some Kalk paste and smear that over it

    you could inject it with Lemon Juice
    You could inject it with vinegar
    you could inject it with boiling water

    all of the above have worked for many people

    trying to remove it may end up with it getting broken and then you end up with more

    Can you get a better picture? It's hard to tell but it doesn't look like an aptasia (bad anemone). Does it look like the pictures below? If so its a good rock anemone.

    To me the pic looks like either a majeno, or an aiptaisa.

    I would get a better pic before you release the hounds, but even with the poor pic I can see a critter I would nuke.

    Kalk paste injected into them works great for me.
