Is this a Bristle or Fire Worm? HELP

    Found this guy in my tank cruising after dark, not sure if its good or bad for my reef tank.
    Any help?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It's a Bristle Worm and I would put it back. I have a very large one in my tank and have for 5 yrs without issue. Well not true my clown picked a fight with it, but that was the clowns fault.

    Coralline has it right, as usual...looks like Eurythoe sp., AKA common bristleworm. Good freebie members of your CUC.

    I hate those gray ones. They are STRONG. I had a tug-o-war with a piece of food one time that was on the end of the stick and I couldn't believe it. You also get poked by them super easily. The regular bristles you can bounce in your hand and not get hit. With the gray ones, just a brush and you'll be covered. The pic that we have of Greg's finger being "impaled" is the first time we had really seen a bunch of those.

    They are not THEE fireworm, but that aren't your regular bristleworm either.
