    Hi Guys,

I was wondering if the thing in the middle of the picture is a feather duster. if it is, does anyone know what kind? I think that I have a very small Hawaiian feather duster on the same rock, but I can't find this one. Thanks in advance!!!

    Regards,
    Ivy

Yes, a tube worm and most likely a Feather Duster variety. looks as if it is ready to shed the feather head so don't be alarmed, it will grow another bigger and more beautiful.

Thanks!!! It isn't very big at all and the top looks smaller than the other one I have. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a nuisance. Thanks!!!

It looks like a Salmacina sp. to me. It doesn't get much bigger. It hiches in on live rock, it does not require any special care, and can become a pest with over growth. I started with one, I have five or six now after a year.
