I have a 180 reef tank (total 350 gal system with ref/sumps) that has been up and running for 3 years. I mostly have soft corals and lps corals. I am wanting to start adding some clams and getting sps. My question is.....I have the opportunity to buy a have a Coralife calcium reactor rated for up to 500 gallons for sale.

The system also comes along with the following:

    American Marine Pinpoint ph meter

    Azoo CO2 Regulator with solenoid

Also a full bottle of Carbon Dioxide

The guy is offering it two me for $150 as it was on a large frag tank system he is tearing down. I have been doing research on a Ca rector for a couple of weeks now. I realize that Coralife is no where near probably as good as some other brands......but for the cost is it worth it for the setup and saving $500 or more for everything. I can always upgrade the reactor itself at a later time couldn't I.

I was looking at either purchasing this our buying some an aquamedic twin doser for my 2 part calcium. I am just tried of daily dosing and am wanting a more automated way of maintaining my levels. I can't decide if I am better off going the augamedic doser now and saving my moeny for a nice reactor later on, or if this is a good deal and I should pounch on it.

    Help..........
