Is this a good deal?

Yep, it's adjustable. Those white screws on the front are for raising/lowering the in tank portion (black box) as well as leveling the black box from side to side.

What are it's dimensions? It looks larger than my PF-300 (single white screw in the black overflow box), so Id' say it's a PF-800. Seems to be the exact same size u-tube, so (if it is) it would work fine. I used my PF-300 on a 38g tank with a Mag 3 pump without any issues. What thickness is the u-tube on that one you are looking to buy? Mine measures 1 and 1/16th inch from inside edge to inside edge (inside diameter).
