Is this a good first time tank?

The asking price is £100. The seller claims it holds 60-80 gallons and that the measurements are 36x20x18. He doesnt say if its inches or cms. Does this look right?

Thanks I will, though I have just realised that theres no hood which is not a good idea with a cat lol

 

We have a cat and she does not bother the tanks other then wanting to drink water out of them from time to time. We do not have lids on either of our marine tanks...LOL...8)

 

Something like $200 right?

Maybe worth it, maybe not. Depending on lights, skimmer (?), power-head condition.

No cover can easily be overcome.

Have no idea of relative values on your side of pond. :-/

 

If it's inches, then it is only 56 gallons
If it's cm's, then its even smaller.

It seems a bit too small to be in gallons! Will look around I think, I can't even find a tank on its own for a fair price right now.

looks like a 46 gallon.they need to say what brand of light cause some i would'nt take chances on
