Is this a good fish list for a beginner?

Well, as I'm getting everything together for my tank I'm trying to come up with a good fish list. My tank is 150 gallons--48"long by 24" wide by 30" high, and I'm planning on an LPS with fish tank. Here's what I've come up with so far:

1-Lawnmower Blenny
2-Ocellaris Clownfish
1-Orchid Dottyback
1-Coral Beauty-or Flame? Angel
1-Bluechin Trigger
1-Kole-or Yelllow? Tang

What do you guys think? Would these be good fish for my tank? Any advice and suggestions are, as always, most welcome!!

 

Angels & trigger fish don't mix very well with corals everything else sound ok

 

Make sure you add all of these over about a 2 year period! Too much too soon could equal disaster. If you add anything at first add a yellow tailed damsel to cycle with... then wait at least 4 months for an addition, then if everything goes well you can add 1 fish about every month.

 

Bluechin/blue jaw triggers are hardy' and fairly easy to keep,
clowns as well.
ALL blenny's are fairly easy,
your better off with the more stout yellow tang ( but they can be pretty teritorial as most tangs can ) just the yellow tends to be a bit more on the meaner side.
( if you plan on getting one add the yellow last or add tangs of same size and at the same time if possible ).
The coral beauty is your best bet over the flame angel ,
flame angels seemingly will do well for a few weeks then Poooof, they die ( choose one that will eat , get the LFS store guy to throw some foods in there to see if it will feed ).
Dottybacks are easy to care for to.

Of course NONE of these fish should be added to the tank until your tank has gone thrue cycle.
You might put in some green chromis to help add bacteria afte the first few weeks of LR cycle is nearing it's completion.
(thier cheap and inexpensive)
And ya cant just go adding any amount of fish you want , it must be done over time.
( to much bio-load at one time can affect the tank )

Most reef keepers will agree that 1 inch per 5 gallons is the rule of thumb,
( I my self push this to near 1 inch of fish per 10 gallons of water, it's safer in a long run )

 

Trigger in a reef tank is a recipe for disaster imo, had all kinds of problems with my last one their all tempermental, mean as hell and completley unpredictable, some angels can be the same way

 

I'm no expert on fish yet, but I'm certainly an expert at referencing and search buttons on forums

;DThanks, everybody, for the great advice! I'll be sure to add fish slowly--I've got the patience for it; it's taken me almost a year and half to get the gear I've got so far, LOL!

 

Watch the dottyback too. They tend to be territorial unless they're added last and may eat your ornamental shrimp.
