I have had this huge kenya tree for about 3 months and it probably drops around 6 branches a week..I am wondering if this means its happy? I dont want it just dropping branches and getting smaller and they arent going to grow back.

This is just normal, I used to have a GIANT kenya tree and it did this all the time.

If your Kenya is shedding more branches than it grows it is unhappy, IME. It is shedding its branches as a survival mechanism hoping they end up in better locations.

+1, that's how mine have been in the past. While I had my mine kenya in my DT, it was growing like crazy but not dropping any branches. Then when I moved it over to my frag tank for space reasons, it started dropping branches, hasn't grown any, except to replace any dropped branches, and seems kind of stunted.

Just bc it opens and your parameters are perfect, doesn't mean that it's doing the best that it could. I have spot on parameters, healthy LPS, SPS, and softies all in my tank, but for some reason, zoas and mushrooms just don't strive. You can have a perfect tank, but it just might not be perfect for a specific coral.
