I received this rock of four mushrooms, I believe, and I cannot find what kind they are anywhere. They do not close up like a normal shroom and they are more rigid. (they don't flow in the current). The have an intense neon green glow under the actinics.

The reason I am wondering is that they are crowding each other on the rock they came on and I would like to move them so they have more space on another piece of live rock.

Does anyone have any insights or suggestions? Thanks!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I believe your type of mushroom is a Rhodactis. If you move them closer to the other rock work they will spread to it ( the rocks should be touching). They really can not crowd each other, they have the ability to move or detach (slowly) should they need to.

This link shows a very similar mushroom, hope it helps.
