Is this a mushroom?

    This moshroom looking thing started to grow recently. No idea where it came from. Feels and looks like a mushroom. Since I took the picture a few mor small ones have started to grow.

    Not sure that kind of looks like more of a macro algae.

    Does it close when you touch it or when the lights go off at night?

    No, it does not close to the touch. It has a rubbery feel.

    Hard to say as I have not seen anything like it. Sounds like a possible mushroom by your touch description.

    red bubble algae, pull the rock out, attempt to remove all seen, and rinse it WELL with hot water. Avoid all corals and featherdusters if necessary. Works 90% of the time!
