    fell off my gsp. Never seen them before but know pods are good. Can someone confirm?

    Yes. I have millions in my tank, if they were doing damage i wouldn't have anything in there anymore.

    JFYI We use the term "pod" very loosely.There are at least 1870 amphipod species and subspecies recorded from fresh or inland water not to mention copepods.
    Some are indeed predatory although I have never had any problems with the more common species.
