    From that pic, it very well could be. That is what I would say it is even though typically it they are more brownish in color I guess.

    thx smitty, yeah it looks and acted like one, just seems to be bigger than what they're supposed to be and darker! hmm

    He's probably been there a long time lol. I usually see mine at night. With how black he is, it isn't surprising that you haven't seen him before lol.

    I saw a small black one in my tank from a frag last year, but never saw it again.
