I just noticed this. It is on a piece of NOT live rock in my Refugium.

The rock it is growing on was bought at a LFS in a DRY box of base rock that was white and chalky.

My guess from my readings on 3Reef is Aiptasia.

    What do y'all think?

Looks like a majano anemone. To be treated the same as aiptasia.

Its hard to tell at this stage, could even be a polyp. You'll have to wait until the tenticles get longer, if they do, then its majano. Luna

Hmm. That's a tough call. As mission6 says, it could be a majano. As Luna says, it could be a polyp of some sort.

If there's just one, and you can keep a close eye on it, try snapping some more pics and keep 'em coming.
