Is this Algae?

    Is this Bubble Algae? if so the only way to get rid of this is water movement or cleaning the rocks, correct? I placed a powerhead on this for a couple days and notice it would go way so I placed the powerhead that this whatever this is on a different rock. Once I did that the first rock would have this unknown thing come back.

    Looks like cyano. Increase flow, reduce nutrients, replace bulbs if they are old...Cyano really hates water movement, as you saw.

    may want to look into, GFO/Carbon or bio-pellets

    running GFO off and on throughout the day and Biopellets 24/7. I think I got in my DT from my sump... I can definitely see replacing the bulbs is part of the issue, since who knows how old they are but this wont happen for another few weeks once my new lights arrive.
