    it started as a bunch of small flourescent balls...but they've grown...now they're about the size of my fingernail.
    What is it?

    Yes it's Neomeris annulata. Harmless, calcium loving macroalgae

    cool,those are miniature mermaids shavingbrush,their much different than the big shavingbrush bushes and easier to keep.
