hard to say, a few weeks to a month or so depending on water, whats in your tank, feeding, nutirents etc. I wouldn't worry about it much and just continue to manually remove it here and there. If it doesn't clear up in a month or 2, you can look at other options.

the tank is 3 months old, kinda par for the course at this stage, I wouldn't use any chemical/treatment on my tank until its a last resort, IMO. Lights are kinda close to what is generally recommended depending on what version of cree's XP-E L etc

Also OP, I saw where you said the bottom "may have bio-pellets", your not sure. I'd check on that, if they are bio pellets, you need to read up on them, but they're prob bio-balls, and you still need to read up on them. Check out biocubes build thread for good ideas;)

All bow to the almighty Cosmo. (sarcasm intended)
I don't know if i'm just tired or what but I did not appriciate the way he quoted my original post.
I stated My opinion. and agreed with another. I wasn't rude. If i wanted to be torn apart I would join a diffrent forum.

I'm sorry if you took that as "tearing you apart", I feel I was just stating my opinion based on the age of the tank. I don't think it came off ill-intentioned at all, but if you took it that way, I apologize. However, your retort kind of defeats the purpose of wanting a forum on the high road...NO????

Peace, my apologies for stating a contradictory opinion.
