Parameters please, swings in alk can cause issues with lps and tissue regression.

Lighting please, the color may be off in the images. The corals look a tad light and or bleached in images.

    Are you feeding the coral?

I realy can't see anywhere that the tissue is receeding. It looks completely normal. Is it possible the tissue is slightly deflated and thus making the spot look larger? There is no new skeleton showing....

I would bring up the mag and alk then and see if that makes a difference, and depending on the depth of the coral, that is a lot of light for an lps.

    brown jelly

the coral is on the bottom somewhat out of direct light, the reason i thought it was brown jelly was it looks brownish on the edge where its seems to be receedingi tryed a couple more pics but it is not a lg area, thanks for all the input.

    Beautiful tank.

I would be hesitant to make any changes since the sps are growing so well for you. I wonder if those of value of mag and alk are correct.

Are you running any GFO/ bio-pellets/ or dosing carbon?

    Again beautiful tank, stunning clam.

Do we know for sure what coral we are dealing with here? It looks a lot like Merulina ampliata to me...in which case it's not an LPS...if so it is a fairly high light coral and also likes a fair bit of flow.
