Is this coral dead?

    I put it in ASAP as I'd like to inform HappyCoral if I got a dead specimen. It's looked like this since receiving it over 24 hours ago. You can find my thread in the HappyCoral forum if you'd like to review. All parameters are in check.

    No it still have tissue.

    What type of coral is it, looks like Favia or LPS of some sort?

    Well I moved it an hour ago off the sand bed up about 6 inches. It looks alive now.

    and just as I post this it looks back how the picture was. It just extended for a little bit and went back down. Hmm. I'll get the ID in one sec

    It is definitely alive. Sometimes corals do not ship well and they need a few days to a week to fully extend. Give it some time and im sure it will look great!

    It looks to be stressed from shipping but otherwise fine.

    #2 is the toadstool and #3 is the torch. #4 is the zoas and #1 is the mushroom.
