Is this coral dead?

    It is a rhodactis mushroom. And fully alive. I see nothing to be concerned about.

    If it is bunched up a little it can be photo-acclimating itself. It takes a few days for it to relax and acclimate to your lighting. It will also look like that when you just turn on the lights, as they close up some at night. Every coral normally takes a few days to acclimate especially if the intensities are a little different. Just be careful that you do not bleach the Rhodactis mushroom as they like very low light, and do best with small feedings, of any very small pellet or coral food such as Reef Pearls.

    Question regarding the zoas. One poly was closed ever since I got it and is now getting a small amount of Gha on it. It has never opened since receiving it. How should I handle this?
