    maybe for acrylic but as long as you don't cut the seams there is no problem. i don't use scrapers any more just a box of razorblades.

    I thought the metals were a problem and why people always said not too? IDK but that's is what ive heard. I cheat once and a while, nothing cleans better than a razor.

    If your razor breaks while you're using it make sure to get the piece out. Otherwise, NO metal can seep off a razor in the time it takes to clean the glass.

    Don't worry about it.

    I use a Kent Marine Scraper for cleaning the glass works like a dream. Basically a thicker dull razor that isn't as dangerous to use and safer on the silicone (where is toung to get close the get the coraline off.

    A company called TOM also makes one that looks really nice to use as well and is a bit more economical than the kent one, but I'm sure eaither works about the same. With it's 24" reach I can easily get to areas where I had a bit more trouble with when using the razor...
