    Hi all I was in one of my friends las night whose getting rid of his tank and I took all that left from the corals here is a pic of a leather I belief The thing is its pretty hard and its doesn't seem soft at all just some parts of it is it dead and should I take it out? he had it for couple years in his tank but it shrinked to this size what you think?

    hes probly done for.I did the same thing w/a freinds and after a week it got worse.It couldnt take the change in its enviorment.

    I agree. Put it in a place near the top half of your tank and see what happens. They are pretty hardy.

    ive seen a cabbage coral one time it looked like it was done for but it was put in a different tank and put with some better lighting and after a while some very very small spots started growing. it took a while but it came back to life
