just had an idea hit me!

think i could take a 10 gallon tank or like a 15 and put a black peice of acyrilic splitting the tank into like a 2gallon sump area and a 8 gallon display part. i would cut slits in one side of black peice to make a over flow deal and have a return from any ole pump cause it wont really matter the GPH as the LS and LR could do filtration as well as the other aspects of filtration just not as fast as the other ways. so i could like make a sump for like 30 bucks. and then paint what the sump would be black so u cant see the stuff in that. so you think this would work?just an idea that i might try as im limited with space and cant have a sump off the DT.

    idk just an idea.

i can draw pics if you need a visual..

A 15 or a 20 would work good for that. I think you would find that a 10 would be cramped after you divided it. If you do it you should make the back the sump.

    theres av visual.

ya it would be like a biocube but i would put it on like a counter or my desk longways like that so it could fit more places and look sweet. also would be cheaper than a biocube.
